33 Palestinians killed as Israeli offensive in Gaza continues

Thirty-three Palestinians have been killed and dozens of others injured since dawn on Wednesday in Israel’s ongoing offensive on the Gaza Strip, local sources said.

Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that Israeli warplanes bombed various parts of the Gaza Strip, killing 33 citizens, including 28 in Gaza City, and wounding dozens.

The Israeli war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has resulted in the killing of 65,344 Palestinians, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of 166,795 others.

Also Wednesday, a Palestinian was killed and three others were injured in raids by the Israeli forces and settlers on the West Bank.

WAFA said that Israeli forces opened fire on a Palestinian youth in the village of Anza, south of Jenin, killing him instantly, three others were also injured after being severely beaten by settlers in the town of Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

Five Palestinians were also arrested in raids on the city of Ramallah and the towns of Zabad, al-Khaljan, Umm Dar, Ya’bad, Salfit, Turmus Ayya, and Kobar in Jenin.

Meanwhile, hundreds of settlers, under the protection of Israeli forces, stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque and carried out provocative acts in its courtyards.
