Palestinian foreign Ministry welcomes the Two-State Solution Conference’ statement

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed Tuesday the statement of the Two-State International Conference presidency on the Peaceful Settlement of the Palestinian Issue held in New York on Monday.

the Ministry expressed thanks for Saudi Arabia, France and all countries that participated in the conference for supporting the Palestinian people and their commitment to international law and international legitimacy resolutions.

It also expressed its thanks to the countries that adopted the New York Declaration and recognized the State of Palestine.

The ministry called on all countries to quickly sign and adopt the declaration, ensuring an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and implementing all provisions of the New York Declaration and the joint statement.

The “Two-State Solution” conference, held under the joint Saudi-French presidency at the United Nations General Assembly headquarters in New York, consolidated recognition of the State of Palestine.

It called for the international community to take action to stop the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, end the humanitarian tragedy there, and unify it with the West Bank under the umbrella of the Palestinian Authority.
