Israeli occupation forces arrested 27 Palestinians during raids across various areas of the West Bank early on Wednesday.

According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, the forces conducted incursions in the cities of Qalqilya, Tulkarm, Nablus, and the town of Qabatiya south of Jenin. They raided Palestinian homes, and attacked residents with live fire and tear gas, in addition to detaining 27 individuals.

In a related development, Israeli forces carried out demolition operations targeting 40 Palestinian homes in the village of Al-Sir in the Negev region within the occupied Palestinian territories of 1948.
