Qatar Condemns Israel’s Ground Offensive in Gaza

Doha – SANA

The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the large-scale ground offensive launched by Israeli forces in Gaza, describing it as a continuation of genocidal acts against the Palestinian people and a flagrant violation of international law.

In a statement issued Wednesday, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned that Israel’s actions are part of a systematic strategy aimed at undermining prospects for peace in the region.

The ministry cited the brutal campaign in Gaza, along with Israel’s settlement expansion, colonial policies, and racial discrimination rooted in aggression and betrayal, as threats to regional and international peace and security. It called for decisive international solidarity to compel Israel to comply with international legitimacy.

The statement reaffirmed Qatar’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and the resilience of the Palestinian people, grounded in international resolutions that guarantee the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
