Israeli occupation forces arrested 18 Palestinians on Sunday at dawn during raids across various areas of the occupied West Bank. Meanwhile, dozens of Israeli settlers stormed al-Aqsa Mosque compound under heavy military protection.
According to WAFA News Agency, Israeli troops raided homes in Azzun Qabla (south of Qalqilya), Za’tara (east of Bethlehem), Beit Furik (east of Nablus), and the towns of Madama, Burin, Asira al-Qibliya, and Tammoun (south of Tubas), conducting searches and ransacking property.
Eyewitnesses in occupied Jerusalem reported that groups of settlers entered the courtyards of al-Aqsa Mosque, performing provocative tours and religious rituals under the protection of Israeli forces.
Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission documented over 1,613 violations by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank during August alone, including 1,182 incidents carried out by Israeli soldiers and 431 by settlers targeting Palestinians and their property.
