Organization of Islamic Cooperation Condemns Israeli Statement Against Qatar

Jeddah – SANA

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)strongly condemned the hostile statements made by Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, against the State of Qatar, as they come with in the ongoing aggressive policies and practices of the occupying authorities, which violate international laws, norms and ethical standards.

“The General Secretariat reaffirms its full solidarity with the State of Qatar and its support for the measures it takes, it also calls on the international community to assume its responsibilities in confronting the dangerous Israeli policies, and to pressure the occupation to comply with international law and the United Nations Charter” – The organization said in a statement on official website.

In the same context, the organization calls on for an emergency Arab-Islamic summit to be held in the Qatari capital, Doha, next Monday to discuss ways to collectively address Israeli statements and threats, which represent a blatant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and a serious threat to regional security and stability.
