Israeli occupation arrests 8 Palestinians in the West Bank

Occupied Jerusalem, SANA – Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale raid operation on Sunday in various areas of the West Bank and arrested a number of Palestinians.

The occupation forces arrested three Palestinians from Bethlehem city, and five others from the cities of Ramallah and Hebron, including a released prisoner, after a large-scale raid campaign, WAFA news agency reported.

Meanwhile, the occupation authorities distributed demolition notices for homes and shops located on the road connecting the Jaba and Qalandiya checkpoints, and settlers attacked Palestinian farmers in the village of al-Minya in Bethlehem and stole their livestock.

A number of settlers also stormed al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the occupation police in successive groups and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards.

The occupation forces tightened their military measures, set up checkpoints, and prevented the passage of vehicles heading to villages and towns north of Ramallah.
