UAE Condemns Netanyahu’s Remarks on Displacing Palestinians from Gaza

Dubai, SANA – The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned recent remarks by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which he advocated for the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza Strip.

UAE described the remarks as a dangerous extension of occupation policies and a blatant violation of international law, United Nations resolutions, and the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.

In an official statement, UAE reiterated its unequivocal rejection of all attempts to undermine or liquidate the Palestinian cause.

It emphasized that safeguarding the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people is not a political option, but a moral, humanitarian, and legal obligation.

Netanyahu made the controversial comments during an interview on an Israeli Telegram channel last Thursday, claiming that “there are various plans for rebuilding Gaza” and that “half of the population wants to leave.”

He suggested that the Rafah crossing could be opened to facilitate their departure, but alleged that Egypt would immediately close it.

He also asserted that “the right to leave Gaza is fundamental for every Palestinian.”
