Occupied Jerusalem, SANA-German Foreign Minister Johann David Wadephul described the humanitarian situation in Gaza as “extremely catastrophic,” urging urgent international action to reach a lasting solution to the Palestinian cause.
In a statement quoted by WAFA Palestinian News Agency, he warned against Israeli attempts to seize control of Gaza and the West Bank, stressing Germany’s rejection of any measures that could expel Palestinians or strip them of their rights. Wadephul affirmed that Gaza must be part of a future Palestinian state under the two-state solution and reiterated Germany’s opposition to any Israeli annexation plans that violate international law.
