Beirut, April 17 (SANA) The Lebanese Army said late Thursday that Israel has violated the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon several times since it came into effect.
In a statement posted on X, the army said it had recorded “a number of Israeli attacks ” in addition to intermittent shelling on several villages. It urged residents to delay returning to villages and towns in southern Lebanon and to follow instructions issued by deployed military units, particularly during nighttime hours, and to avoid approaching areas deemed dangerous.
The ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel came into force earlier on Thursday for a 10-day period under U.S. mediation.
