King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) has signed an executive program with the World Health Organization (WHO) to boost emergency health services for millions of Syrians.
The agreement was signed in New York on the sidelines of the 80th UN General Assembly in the presence of Dr. Abdullah al Rabeeah, Supervisor General of the Center, and WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
Dr. Tedros said in a post on X that the $4.5 million contribution from the King Salman Center will help deliver essential medicines and supplies to an estimated 1.5 million people in Idleb, Aleppo, Homs, and Hama.
He added that the generous support will expand access to basic health services for over 4 million Syrians.
