Electricity Minister inspects work at Tishreen Thermal Power Plant

Damascus Countryside, SANA-Electricity Minister in the caretaker government, Omar Shaqrouq, inspected work at at Tishreen Thermal Power Plant in Wadi al-Rabi’ area in Damascus Countryside, which has a capacity of 1000 megawatts.

During a meeting with the administrative and technical cadres, Shaqrouq discussed the plant’s work plan and the proposals to be implemented.

He also listened to the workers’ concerns, demands, and the difficulties they face, noting that these demands will be considered to find appropriate solutions to develop and sustain the work.

The minister also stressed the importance of the cadres’ work to overcome the difficulties facing the electricity sector.
He pointed out the cadres’ efforts around the clock and the national expertise that is the most important factor for self-reliance under the current circumstances.
