The convoy was received by a number of families of the returnees, a crowd of citizens, and club members.

“Based on the club’s social and humanitarian role, the return of a number of Homs families residing in Zoghra Camp has been facilitated. The first Caravan of Glory was launched last week, securing the arrival of 30 families, and today we received the second batch.”Club Head Najib al-Farra told a SANA reporter.

In turn, the convoy coordinator, Osama Al-Junaid, thanked the al-Wathba Club management for their humanitarian gesture and their assistance to families unable to afford transportation costs to return to the city from which they were forcibly displaced during the former regime.

Abdul Rahim al-Baqaei, who was expelled from the al-Waer neighborhood by the former regime seven years ago, said that there are no words to describe his joy at returning to the city where he grew up and lived, extending his thanks to all those who contributed to this effort.
