Aleppo, SANA- General Security Forces began deploying at the entrances to the Ashrafieh and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods in Aleppo after removing earthworks and barriers and opening the roads leading to the two neighborhoods.
The Aleppo Media Directorate said in a statement to SANA that several joint checkpoints between the General Security Forces and the Internal Security Forces have been activated in the two neighborhoods, in preparation for the integration of all security forces into the ranks of the Syrian Ministry of Interior.
The directorate added that this step aims to accelerate the implementation of the remaining terms of the agreement, specifically the completion of the exchange of detainees and the departure of the remaining military personnel from the area to eastern Syria, and the activation of state institutions in the two neighborhoods to provide services to citizens.
