Damascus, SANA – Education Minister Dr. Mohammad Turko discussed
Thursday with a delegation from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) the prospects for future cooperation between the two countries in the field of vocational education in Syria.
During the meeting, Minister Turko stressed the importance of benefiting from the German experience in vocational education and the ministry’s commitment to taking practical steps to achieve this aim.
The German delegation voiced great interest in vocational education, expressing its desire to initiate practical steps to develop this field in Syria, establish standards, train, and rehabilitate youth to ensure a better future for them and involve them in the labor market.
