Enhancing education quality and innovation in Syria through the “Graduation Projects and job opportunities” exhibition

Damascus, SANA-The Syrian Private University, in collaboration with the Human Resources Management Foundation, organized a series of academic and scientific events aimed at enhancing the quality of education and encouraging innovation. The events were attended by Dr. Dr. Mohammed Sweid, Assistant Minister of Higher Education for Private University Affairs, and Dr. Abeer Qudsi, Assistant Minister for Administrative Affairs.

The program included a “Graduation Projects Exhibition” featuring over 54 final-year projects by students from the Faculty of Informatics Engineering. The projects spanned various specializations, including Software Engineering and Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Information Security and Advanced Communications, as well as Robotics and Control Sciences.

Also featured was a job fair with participation from 14 leading software and telecommunications companies in Syria. The event hosted the 9th “Clinical Case Poster Competition” organized by the university’s Faculty of Dentistry, which saw broad participation from dental students across Syrian public and private universities, along with international involvement from dental students in Yemen.

Dr. Mohammed Sweid, Assistant Minister of Higher Education for Private University Affairs, highlighted in his speech the importance of these activities and the need to expand them to include students at both public and private universities.

For his part, the President of the Syrian Private University, Dr. Abdul Razzaq al-Hussein, commended the efforts of the College of Informatics students who are sharing the fruits of their academic journey with major companies. He noted the university’s readiness to collaborate on research and applied studies with private sector companies and to hold events that serve the common interests of students, graduates, and companies.
