Damascus, April 30 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa on Thursday chaired a meeting of the Higher Council for Education at the People’s Palace in Damascus.

Discussions during the meeting dealt with the progress of the educational process and preparations for the upcoming exams, and means of developing the education system by enhancing coordination among ministries of Education, Higher Education and Religious Endowments.

The talks also addressed updating curricula and study plans, and improving the quality of education to meet the current needs and contribute to building qualified national talents.
