Damascus University launches “Syria’s Youth Shaping the Future” exhibition

The Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Damascus University inaugurated its annual exhibition on Monday under the slogan “Syria’s Youth Shaping the Future.”

The event brings together several public and private universities, university professors, and representatives of scientific and industrial institutions. It aims to highlight the creativity of Syrian youth, turn academic innovations into practical industrial applications, and strengthen cooperation between universities and the production sector.

The exhibition features more than 155 engineering projects by students from universities across Syria, showcasing innovations in mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering.

Displayed projects cover renewable energy, automation, robotics, smart control, communications, and engineering software systems, designed under faculty supervision.

The exhibition also underscores student innovation as a key driver of Syria’s technical modernization and reconstruction, contributing to the transformation of scientific knowledge into sustainable national achievements.
