Damascus, SANA -Gold prices in the local market fell on Tuesday by SYP 10,000 per gram for 21-carat gold compared to yesterday’s price, which stood at SYB 875,000.
In a bulletin published Tuesday on its official Facebook page, the Goldsmiths Syndicate set the selling price of a gram of 21-karat gold at SYP 865,000, and the buying price at SYP 845,000
Meanwhile, the price of a gram of 18-karat gold reached 740,000 Syrian pounds for selling, and 720,000 Syrian pounds for buying.
The syndicate emphasized the importance of goldsmiths adhering to the announced pricing and displaying it clearly at the storefront.
