Damascus, SANA- The exchange rate of the Syrian Pound (SYP) against the United States Dollar (USD) has increased to 11,000 Syrian Pounds per one US Dollar, compared to yesterday’s recorded rate of 12,000 Syrian Pounds per Dollar.
According to the official bulletin issued by the Central Bank of Syria (CBS) on Tuesday, the exchange rate of the Syrian Pound against the US Dollar was set at SYP 11,000 for purchase and SYP 11,110 for sale with an average rate of SYP 11,055.
Regarding the Euro, the Central Bank set the purchase price at SYP 12,227.60, the selling price at SYP 12,349.87, and the average rate at SYP 12,288.74.
