With participation of more than 500 companies, Syria Specialized Exhibition Series 2025 kicks off

Damascus, SANA- With the participation of more than 500 local and foreign companies, the Syria Specialized Exhibition Series 2025 was inaugurated on Wednesday evening.

Organized by Tayara Group for International Exhibitions and Conferences, in collaboration with the Ministries of Public Works and Housing, Energy, Economy, and Industry, the event is being held at the new Damascus Fairgrounds.

The exhibitions, inaugurated by Minister of Economy and Industry Dr. Nidal al-Shaar, Minister of Energy Engineer Mohammad al-Bashir, Minister of Public Works and Housing Engineer Mustafa Abdul Razzaq, and Minister of Tourism Mazen al-Salihani, will continue until May 11.

Spanning an area of 30,000 square meters, the Syria Specialized Exhibition Series includes the Syrian International Exhibition for Construction, Building, and Infrastructure “Techno Build”, Energy, Electricity, and Industrial Automation Exhibition “Syria Energy”, and Syrian International Industrial Exhibition “SINEX”.

Director General of the Syrian Establishment for Fairs and International Markets, Mohammad Hamza, stated that these this series of exhibitions is unique in the post-liberation phase and serves as a gateway to the reconstruction era.

Hamza highlighted the significant level of participation, reflecting strong interest in Syria as these exhibitions provide a platform to promote Syrian national products and connect local and international investors with Syrian markets.

He also noted that the establishment aims to expand Damascus Fairgrounds and establish new fairgrounds in different governorates to accommodate various industries that the current exhibition spaces cannot accommodate.

Meanwhile, the Acting Chargé d’Affairs of the Turkish Embassy in Damascus, Ambassador Burhan Koroglu emphasized Turkey’s support for Syria’s reconstruction process through the extensive participation of Turkish companies in the exhibitions.

Koroglu noted that Syria has historically been a leader in construction, industry, and trade. He described the current phase as an opportunity to empower Syria across various sectors after the war.

On his part, Muwafaq Tayara, the director of Tayara International Exhibitions and Conferences, affirmed that the most distinctive feature of this series is the presence of companies focused on the construction, energy, and industrial sectors, keeping pace with the latest reconstruction technologies.

He emphasized that Syria will be rebuilt only by its free, loyal citizens and by the brotherly countries interested in the reconstruction process.

Tayara considered these exhibitions a response to the reality Syria is experiencing and to the needs of the reconstruction process, requiring the participation of commercial and economic entities to be effective at this stage.

The exhibition pavilions feature commercial samples of equipment and service technologies, both global and local, including construction and building services, real estate and engineering solutions, interior and exterior finishing, the latest advancements in electricity and alternative energy, as well as all necessary industrial supplies, machinery, and production lines. Additionally, the exhibitions are accompanied by a series of scientific seminars and lectures focused on reconstruction.
