London, Aug. 4 (SANA) Oil prices rose on Tuesday, recovering part of the sharp losses recorded in the previous session as uncertainty surrounding U.S.-Iran talks and concerns over potential disruptions to Middle East oil supplies supported the market.
According to Reuters, Brent crude futures for October delivery gained 62 cents, or 0.7%, to $84.39 a barrel, after falling 7% on Monday to their lowest level in three weeks.
Meanwhile, U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude rose 61 cents, or 0.7%, to $80.95 a barrel, following a decline of more than 5% in the previous session that pushed prices to their lowest level in nearly a week.
Market sentiment remained focused on developments surrounding negotiations between the United States and Iran, with investors also monitoring the risk of supply disruptions from the Middle East, a key oil-producing region.
