President al-Sharaa discusses boosting economic partnership with Saudi Arabia

President Ahmad Al-Sharaa held a meeting on Wednesday in Riyadh with Mohammed bin Abdullah Abunayyan, chairman of the Saudi-Syrian Business Council, to discuss enhancing the economic partnership between Syria and Saudi Arabia.

The meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the 9th edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Conference, was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani, Minister of Economy Nidal al-Shaar, and Minister of Finance Mohamed Yisr Barnieh.

Discussions focused on the council’s activities and expanding economic and investment partnerships between Syria and Saudi Arabia, particularly in the fields of infrastructure, energy, and reconstruction.
