The Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands (ACSAD) and the Arab Water Council have signed a scientific and technical cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening partnerships in water management and sustainable development across Arab countries.
The agreement, signed by ACSAD Director Nasr Al-Din Al-Obaid and Council Chairman Mahmoud Abu Zeid, focuses on unifying Arab efforts to address water security challenges, promote the exchange of expertise and applied research, and implement joint training programs to strengthen regional capacity in water management, sustainable agriculture, and climate adaptation.
In a joint statement, both parties described the agreement as a step toward greater Arab integration in water management and the development of sustainable policies to support food and water security.
