Damascus, SANA-Minister of Finance Mohammad Yasir Barnieh and Director General of the Syrian Institution for Exhibitions and International Markets Mohammad Hamza inaugurated on Friday the Syrian specialized export clothing exhibition “Khan al-Harir – Motex, autumn and Winter 2025–2026,” held at the Exhibition City in Damascus.
220 Syrian companies specializing in made clothing and production supplies participated in the exhibition.

The opening ceremony was attended by the heads of the chambers of industry and commerce in Damascus and Aleppo, under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy and Industry, along with several ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps in Damascus.
The exhibition spans an area of 10,000 square meters distributed across three halls, targeting a wide range of visitors and stakeholders from inside Syria and abroad.
These include importers and businesspeople from more than ten Arab and regional countries, such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Algeria, Yemen, and Turkey. This initiative aims to boost export opportunities and support local products.
The exhibition continues until September 15, with the participation of leading economic entities specializing in the textile and ready-made clothing industries in Syria.
