Damascus, SANA-Minister of Tourism Mazen Al-Salihani affirmed that the launch of the Syrian Development Fund represents a turning point that expresses the state’s commitment to the path of reform and construction, and to putting the nation’s capabilities at the service of the citizen.
Al-Salhani said in a statement to a SANA that the Syrian Development Fund is a real tool for reviving the tourism infrastructure in all governorates, and opening fair and comprehensive development horizons that reflect the will and sacrifices of the people, as tourism is not a luxury, but rather part of an integrated national economic renaissance.
The launch of the fund Thursday came within a comprehensive national plan aimed at reconstruction and sustainable development after the major challenges the country has faced over the past years.
