Damascus, SANA- In the presence of President Ahmad Al-Sharaa, activities of the Syrian Development Fund were launched on Thursday at Damascus Citadel.
Director General of Syrian Development Fund, Mohammad Safwat Raslan, said in a speech at the beginning of the launching ceremony that “We meet today to witness an unprecedented national launch, at a moment when national will blends with ambition, and when hope meets determination.”
“We announce the launching of the Syrian Development Fund, the national institution that will become a compass for the reconstruction of our wounded homeland, in loyalty to the sacrifices of our martyrs,” Raslan added.
He went on to say that The fund is a comprehensive vision that seeks to unify the efforts of the state, civil society, the private sector, and the people of Syria at home and abroad, ensure transparency in resource management, create tangible job opportunities, and implement service and economic projects that improve the lives of Syrian people in every governorate, city and village.
“Today, we are witnessing the beginning of a new phase, a phase of construction after destruction, confidence after defeat, and hope after pain. With your support and commitment, this fund will become a symbol of transparency, a symbol of stability, and an engine of growth,” Raslan added.”
