Damascus, SANA-The Syrian Grain Corporation has signed an agreement with Aleco Company to rehabilitate and operate the Deir Ezzor Modern Mill, aiming to boost flour production and strengthen food security in the province.
The project will upgrade the mill with advanced equipment to meet rising demand and ensure high-quality flour supply.
The Director General of the Syrian Grain establishment Eng. Hassan al-Othman said that the initiative highlights public-private partnership.
For his part, Aleco General Manager Dr. Abdul Latif al-Jaraqi emphasized that the agreement represents a significant step in the reconstruction of Deir Ezzor Governorate, providing more than 200 job opportunities for its residents.
He noted that it contributes to achieving self-sufficiency in flour and reflects the spirit of cooperation between the public and private sectors.
