Paris, April 12 (SANA) The “Artist of the Earth” exhibition opened in Paris on Saturday, showcasing works by a group of Syrian artists exploring identity and memory through contemporary art.
The exhibition featured miniature models of traditional Damascene houses, paintings, handmade crafts and mosaics, reflecting a deep emotional connection to place and memory, particularly in the context of war.

Dr. Iman Jilalati, head of the organizing association “Valuable Hands,” said the exhibition aims to convey a human and cultural message through art, noting that art speaks a universal language.
Participating artists said their work is driven by memory and human connection, describing art as a bridge across cultures and a way to reach audiences on an emotional level.
The event concluded with a tribute to the artists, alongside a Sufi whirling performance, which added a spiritual dimension to the exhibition.
