Mazen Al-Mubarak Wins King Salman Global Award for Arabic Language 2025

The King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language in Saudi Arabia announced that Syrian scholar Dr. Mazen Abdul Qader Al-Mubarak has won the Award for Promoting Linguistic Awareness and Innovative Community Initiatives, in the individual category, in recognition of his pioneering contributions to serving the Arabic language through research, authorship, and intellectual framework development.

This honor crowns a scholarly career spanning more than seven decades, during which Dr. Al-Mubarak became known for his efforts to strengthen linguistic awareness and highlight the connection between language, identity, culture, and development, guided by a scientific approach that combines authenticity, precision, and field-based research and education.

The winners will be honored in a ceremony scheduled for October 30 in Riyadh, under the patronage of Saudi Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Farhan Al- Saud Chair of the Academy’s Board of Trustees.

The King Salman Global Award for the Arabic Language is among the most prestigious awards dedicated to recognizing outstanding efforts in serving the Arabic language and promoting its stature.
