The hour-and-a-half performance blended classical poetry with elegant melodies, brought to life by a new generation of Syrian vocalists. The concert honored masterpieces made famous by legendary Arabic musicians, opening with “Atifa,” composed by Maestro Adnan Fathallah.

In a statement to SANA, Fathallah described the event as the culmination of a musical vision that marries authenticity with modernity, reviving the tradition of sung Arabic poetry-an enduring symbol of Syrian and Arab cultural identity.

“The enthusiastic turnout reflects the deep passion Syrians have for artistic and cultural celebrations,” Fathallah added.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Ministers of Culture Luna Rajab and Ahmed Al-Sawaf, alongside artists and fans of classical Arabic music from various generations.
