Damascus, SANA-With participation of more than 40 artists and in collaboration with a group of craftsmen, Damascus Culture Directorate opened ‘Afrah al-Sham’ exhibition at Arab Cultural Center in Midan area.
The exhibition, which lasts till August 26th, featured paintings in a variety of styles, in addition to works in lithography and Arabic calligraphy and other handicrafts.
The exhibition supervisors said that this event represents a message of optimism and reflects life with bright colors.
It serves as a platform for communication between artists and the public, in addition to being a space to support small projects and showcase the creativity of Syrian women.
