Monday weather: Temperatures above average, skies hot

Damascus, SANA -Temperatures remain above average from 4 to 6 degrees as the country is still being affected by the seasonal Indian low air pressure accompanied by a subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be hot and clear in general, while the weather will be misty in the eastern al-Jazira and al-Badia (desert) areas.

The winds will be northwesterly of low speed and the sea waves will be of low amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 41/24, Daraa 39/23, Homs 41/22, Hama 42/23, Lattakia 36/25, Aleppo 41/23 and Deir Ezzor 45/ 27.
