Vienna, SANA – United Nations’ Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon expressed on Tuesday “deep concern” over breaching the cessation of hostilities agreement in Syria, in a hint to the terrorist attacks which hit Aleppo and Damascus Countryside.
“I am deeply worried about developments on the ground, especially the attacks in Damascus yesterday and Aleppo overnight,” said Ban Ki-moon in a statement to AFP in Vienna.
He added “the cessation of hostilities should go on; otherwise it will be very difficult for aid and relief staffs to deliver humanitarian assistance”.
Terrorist organizations escalated their attacks on Syrian civilians in various areas during the past few days.
