Tehran, SANA_ Iran will continue its strong support to Syria in the fight against terrorism, and to the political settlement of the crisis as well as to upholding its solidarity and sovereignty, Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab and African affairs Hussein Amir Abdullahian said.
” Syria is an important country in the resistance front ,” Abdullahian told the Iranian News Agency /IRNA/ on Sunday.
He said “The future of Syria shall be determined only by its people.”
Last Wednesday, Abdullahian reiterated that settling the crisis in Syria is dependent on respecting and protecting Syria’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
