Pyongyang, SANA- The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) threatened to use all the possible measures to confront any provocative attempts over the country.
“All the service personnel and people of the DPRK are ready to immediately and mercilessly punish without slightest leniency, tolerance and patience anyone provoking the dignified supreme headquarters even a bit,” the Supreme Command of Korean people’s army said in a statement, describing the joint drills which will be conducted by South Korea and US in March as” the peak of the aggressive acts”.
Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) quoted the statement as saying, our first target would be South Korea’s presidential Blue House, while the US military bases in Asia and on the US mainland would be secondary secondary targets.
The US and South Korean joint military drills are scheduled to be conducted next month while tension increases in the Korean peninsula and Pyongyang considers the drills aim at involving militarily in its lands and calls for cancelling them.
More than 90,000 South Koreans and 15,000 Americans will take part in the joint military drills.
