Justice Ministry denies a Tunisian report on executing 300 persons between 2013 and 2015

Damascus, SANA-Ministry of Justice denied on Wednesday what was published on Tunisian El-Hasade Newspaper in its issue yesterday, quoting media outlets as saying that the Syrian judiciary has executed 300 persons, among them persons of Tunisian and Libyan nationalities between 2013 and 2015.

“This news is baseless and untrue as all trials are being done in front of Syrian courts in a fair and just manner according to international criterion and without any discrimination because of nationality or any other reason,” the Ministry said in a statement.

Large numbers of Tunisian youths have been involved in the ranks of terrorist organizations in Syria as press reports talk about nearly 8000 ones.
