Aleppo Governor, international organizations discuss relief cooperation

Aleppo, SANA- Aleppo Governor Mohammad Marwan al-Olabi discussed with representatives of humanitarian and international organizations and Board of Directors of Aleppo Chamber of Industry means of cooperation in relief sector, particularly with regard to producing relief aid packages locally.

The governor pointed out that this project will offer thousands of job opportunities to locals in Aleppo and will operate factories and workshops which will contribute to accelerating the recovery of the industrial sector which was affected by terrorist acts.

In turn, Head of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry Fares al-Shihabi noted that producing relief aid packages locally is an important project that will have a positive impact in combating poverty, unemployment and displacement, stressing the readiness of Aleppo industrial figures to cooperate with international and humanitarian in all sectors.

For their part, representatives of humanitarian and international organizations expressed their readiness to cooperate with Aleppo Chamber of Industry and traders in all humanitarian sectors during the next stage.
