UN, SANA – UN Deputy Spokesperson Farhan Haq said Tuesday UN envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura will submit next Monday to the UN a report on the outcomes of his mission and his recommendations for the steps to be taken.
Haq added in a statement that de Mistura will hold talks with senior officials, including the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, and later at the Security Council.
On June 16, de Mistura met with President Bashar al-Assad in Damascus who stressed that the world must realize the danger of terrorism on its security and stability, warning that keeping silent on the crimes of the terrorists encourages them to commit more terror acts.
