Damascus, SANA- The Syrian team for bodybuilding got distinguished results in Asian championship for bodybuilding which was held in Japan with the participation of a group of prominent athletes from Asia and the world.

The Syrian team athletes harvested four medals including a gold and three bronze ones despite the strong competition among the Competitors especially between the Iranian and Japanese teams that included a number of world heroes athletes in their ranks.

The gold medal was awarded to the winner Zuhair Wanous 85 Kilograms, whereas Mohammad Qutait 90 kilograms , Wael Qarout 100 kilograms and Mohammad Mahmoud over 100 kilograms swept bronze medals.

The fourth place went to Ameen al-Hares and Wael Samkari came the fifth.

Asia championship for bodybuilding was launched on June 3rd in Japan with the participation of 183 athletes representing 22 teams.
