Israeli authorities prevent families from visiting their sons in Israeli prison

Occupied Golan, SANA – In a new provocative measure, Israeli authorities prevented on Sunday morning families of Golanese prisoners in Gilboa jail from visiting their sons.

The families were enraged by the move and expressed resentment over the unfair and provocative measures of the Israeli authorities, which occupy the Syrian Golan since 1967.

They, however, affirmed that they will not bow to the Israeli hostility, saying their morale and that of their prisoners will remain high whatsoever.

The families were there to visit Majed al-Shaer, Sham Shams, Iyad al-Jouhari and the long -time prisoner Sudqi al-Maqt in Gilboa prison, located in northern occupied Palestine.

Al-Maqt was re-detained Last February after his release on August 2012. He had spent 27 years in Israeli jails.

Israeli occupation forces have been holding hundreds of people from the Golan in custody illegally and in violation of the international law.
