Russia expels seven Danish diplomats for reciprocity

Moscow, SANA- The Russian Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday the expulsion of seven Danish diplomats in reciprocity to a measure taken by Copenhagen against Russian diplomats a month ago.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the Danish Ambassador to Moscow, Carsten Syndergord, was summoned to express to him strong protest against his country’s announcement on the fifth of last April that 15 employees of the Russian embassy and commercial representation in Copenhagen were persona non grata and the Danish authorities provided military support to the Kyiv authorities.

The statement considered that the blatantly anti-Russian policies practiced by the Danish Kingdom seriously harm bilateral relations.
