Russian MoD: Turkish-made drone shot down near Crimea shores

Moscow SANA- Russian Defense Ministry (MoD) announced Tuesday shooting down of a Turkish–made drone of Bayraktar TB2 near the shores of Crimea.

The Ministry released a footage showing Russian warship affiliated with the Black Sea Fleet shooting down a drone of Bayraktar TB2 at the shores of Crimea Peninsula.

The warship launched two anti-aircraft Shatel missiles, as they hit the drone and destroyed it, the ministry added in a statement.

‘‘The drone belongs to the Ukrainian armed forces, as it was spying on the ships of the Black Sea Fleet, the coastal and land sites of Russian combat equipment in Crimea and southern Ukraine,” the ministry said.
