New York, SANA- Russian embassy in Washington has demanded that the United States continue the process of destroying all its chemical weapons completely, noting that the US authorities had deliberately delayed this process.
“The Russian side destroyed all its stockpiles of chemical weapons in 2017, and this was documented by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW),” RIA Novosti news agency quoted the Russian embassy as saying in a statement.
The embassy added “The US, in turn, has deliberately delayed the destruction of the remaining three percent of its chemical weapons, which still pose a serious threat to the entire world, and therefore we urge the US to eliminate all of its chemical weapons.”
The Russian special military operation to protect civilians in Donbass revealed the existence of a network of biological laboratories run by Washington on Ukrainian territory and near the border with Russia for military purposes.
