Temperatures above average, skies clear to partly cloudy

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to rise to become from 5 to 8 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the weather will be hot, and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general with slight chance of showers in different regions.

The wind will be westerly with a low to moderate speed and active gusts sometimes, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major cities will be in Damascus 35/17, Tartous 29/15, Aleppo 35/13, Homs 35/14, Hama   37/15, Lattakia 29/15, Deir Ezzor41/20 and Quneitra 34/10.
