Syria to export medicines to Iraq

Baghdad, SANA- -Minister of Health, Hassan Ghabbash, discussed on Thursday with Iraqi counterpart, Hassan al-Tamimi, means of enhancing health cooperation between Syria and Iraq.

The two ministers held a session of talks at the building of the Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment, during which they tackled the importance of cooperation in confronting the Coronavirus and securing necessary vaccines to limit its spread.

The two sides agreed to export Syrian medicines to Iraq and exchange experiences in the field of pharmaceutical industries.

In statements to the SANA correspondent in Baghdad, the two ministers stressed the importance of cooperation in the health domain in a way that benefits the two brotherly peoples.
