On the occasion of Farmers Day, afforestation campaigns in a number of provinces

Sweida, SANA- Agricultural, civil, youth and official activities participated in an afforestation campaign launched by as-Suwayda Farmers Union on Monday, in cooperation with the Directorate of Agriculture, at Abd Mar Al-Haraji site in Salkhad area under the slogan (We plant a tree, we build a homeland).

The event was organized on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of the farmers Day.

The event comes as part of a broad afforestation campaign launched by Farmers General Union to plant one million trees, and it is an important step to respond to those who cut down trees during the past period.
