On anniversary of Open Strike… Golan citizens more determined to liberate the whole occupied Syrian Golan from Israeli occupation

Quneitra, SANA- Citizens of Quneitra and the occupied Syrian Golan reiterated their determination to complete the march of resilience and resistance until liberating the Golan from the Israeli occupation and restoring all the usurped rights.

On the 38th anniversary of the 1982 National open Strike, citizens of Quneitra and the occupied Syrian Golan stressed their adherence to every inch of the Golan soil and their resistance to expel the Israeli occupation from it.

The open strike was organized by Golan citizens on the 14th of February 1982 in rejection of the Israeli occupation authorities’ decision issued on December 14, 1981 to annex the occupied Syrian Golan and impose Israeli laws on its people.

Speaking to SANA’s reporter in Quneitra, member of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party in Quneitra, Hazeh Sulaiman, said that Golan is a Syrian Arab land and the annexation decision is illegal and violates the international laws.

For his part, Member of the Parliament, Refa’at al-Hussein, saluted people in villages of Majdal Shams, Masaada, Baq’atha , and Ein Qenniyah who have been preserving the identity of Golan , affirming that Golan will return to Syria’s sovereignty, and the occupation will be eliminated.

Dean of the Syrian and Arab captives at the Israeli occupation prisons, Sidqi al-Maqt, indicated that “our battle against terrorism is a front of struggle and resistance against the Zionist entity and its mercenaries that sold their homeland for some dollars to achieve of the US-Zionist goals in our region.”
