Damascus, SANA-Al-Jaish basketball team was crowned on Monday hero of the republic cup after beating al-Wathba counterpart 81-59 in the final match which was held at al-Faihaa sports hall in Damascus.
Al-Jaish was the best in the majority of the game quarters. It ended the first quarter by 21-6 points, the second by 25-16, the third one ended for the interest of al-Wathba 19-15 but al-Jaish ended the fourth quarter by 20-18.
