Beirut, SANA-UN Envoy to Syria Staffan De Mistura reaffirmed Thursday that resolution to the crisis in Syria is political.
De Mistura discussed with Deputy Secretary General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Na’em Qassem during a meeting in Beirut, the latest developments in the region, particularly in Syria.
The UN envoy stressed that viewpoints between the two sides were identical on the necessity of solving the crisis in Syria through political means, adding that his visit to Lebanon comes within the framework of consolations to have contacts with all sides concerned in the crisis in Syria.
Qassem, for his part, also affirmed that the only solution to the crisis in Syria will be political, away from any preconditions.
